Kawai’s highly regarded Responsive Hammer Compact (RHC) action includes 88 grade-weighted keys that provide an incredibly authentic acoustic piano-like touch. The stunning concert grand piano tone is the product of Kawai’s proprietary Harmonic Imaging technology that meticulously records the nuance of each note of our acclaimed Shigeru Kawai concert grand piano.

The KDP75 takes a step forward with selections of dynamic instrument voices, various built-in lesson songs (Alfred, Beyer, Burgmuller, and Czerny), the ability to record and playback performances, metronome, dual headphone jacks, and USB connectivity. Control the KDP75 with a smartphone or tablet using Kawai’s Piano Remote app or further expand its functionality with other music-related apps.

Based on Kawai’s reliable keyboard action designs, now featuring improved cushioning material to help reduce keyboard noise, the sensitive yet sturdy construction provides a smooth, natural, highly authentic piano playing experience.

The KDP75 allows players to control the instrument’s features via Kawai’s PianoRemote app for iOS and supported Android devices. The KDP75’s convenient lesson function allows aspiring pianists to learn piano with classical Czerny, Burgmüller, and Beyer, or a collection of songs from the popular Alfred’s Basic, Adult, and Premier course books (Alfred books sold separately).

With a strong emphasis on acoustic piano realism, the KDP75 also features traditional finger exercises, scales, and warm-up drills, and includes companion books for all classical scores to further aid one’s piano development.

LESSONS AND EXERCISES

The KDP75’s Spatial Headphone Sound (SHS) technology enhances the depth and realism of the instrument’s sound when listening through headphones. In addition the KDP75 allows players to select the type of headphones they are using (open, semi -open, closed, in-ear, canal, etc. ) for an optimized listening experience with less ear fatigue.
